Personal data. The GDPR sets the rules for collecting and using personal data, and the Danish Data Protection Agency is the national authority. A site that has a contact form, a shop or analytics collects personal data and needs a clear privacy notice.
Breaches. Under the GDPR a personal data breach that is likely to put people at risk must be reported to the supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. A site that is monitored, patched and backed up gives you a better chance of detecting a problem early.
Cookies. Non-essential cookies need the visitor's consent before they are set. Maintenance keeps your banner and consent tool working after updates; the choice of which cookies to use stays with you.
Accessibility. The EU's accessibility rules can apply to online shops and some services. We keep sites working but do not certify their accessibility, so tell us what you need and we will say plainly what is covered.
